Aftercare

Great news your nails look AWESOME and you and I both want them to stay that way right? Keep in mind the following and your nails should stay fabulous until your next visit!

I know you're fierce af but your nails are precious, do not use the ends as tools and be careful not to apply too much pressure as this can cause breakage. I know you might be rushing to get into the car on a rainy day but a slippery door handle can lead to a break and an ouchie. Take extra care.

Wear rubber gloves when cleaning, chemicals will dry out your nails and lead to chipping and lifting.

No picking or nibbling. Ok I know the struggle is REAL but picking, peeling or biting at your wonderful mani will cause damage to your nail and stop the manicure lasting as long. If you do have a snag you can file the nail until your next appointment.

Keep nails at a workable length. You may want nails as long as a summers' night and never have to do any work but sometimes life doesn't make that possible. Nails that are too long for an intensive job will break and lift.

Maintain those babies! If you do break or chip a nail or you notice any lifting contact me straight away and we can sort you out.*

Avoid intense heat and some oils and lotions for 24 hours after your service. This can break down the product and prevent the service lasting as long.

Apply cuticle oil in the evening to keep those cuticles...cute! No one likes uglicles do they??

Don't be shy! It is important that you visit every 2-3 weeks to keep those nails healthy and looking fresh.

Although rare some people are extra sensitive and allergic reactions can occur. If you notice any swelling, blistering or discolouration please contact me immediately and consult with your doctor.

*Nail repairs that occur after the first 48 hours are chargeable, please text me to discuss.
